M. Rock Lazo, Fukushidoin
Lazo Sensei began practicing Martial Arts, specifically Tai Chi and Kung Fu, as a teenager in 1974. He started the study of Aikido in 1982 under Akira Tohei Shihan at the Midwest Aikido Center (MAC) and continues to practice at the MAC today. He currently serves on the teaching staff at the MAC and has held various positions on the MAC board. Since September, 2001, Lazo Sensei has traveled to Kenosha, WI on Wednesday evenings to provide instruction to the Kenosha Aikikai. Lazo Sensei was awarded the rank of Yondan, or 4th degree black belt, early in 2006.
